Smoking.. it is not just a habit,  it is an addiction, it is a feeling of being cool, it is something that 7 out of 10 smokers want to quit (Stats). Here are a few alternatives of a cigarette (or equivalent).


Oats

Smoking is generally done to reduce stress. The same can be done through a regular intake of oats. Oats are beneficial for heart and they are high in fiber and potassium which can help in reducing smoking. A research carried in Japan gave results that a daily intake of oats can help in reducing smoking from 20 to 9 cigarettes a day. Thus, for all those "7 out of 10s" who want to quit smoking, oats are beneficial.
